Little Farm Stop Opens Year-Round Indoor Farmers Market at Breckenridge Village |
New Little Rock market features products from 51 Arkansas farmers, bakers and makers |

Farmers market season does not have to end when outdoor stalls close for cooler weather.
The Little Farm Stop, a new indoor market at Little Rock's Breckenridge Village, is now open with food and other products from 51 Arkansas farmers, bakers and makers.
The market operates year-round, Tuesday through Sunday, according to recent local reporting.
A different model for local producers
The market is a project of the nonprofit St. Joseph Center of Arkansas.
Its model is designed to return a larger share of what shoppers spend to the people producing the goods.
The organization says participating farmers receive 70 cents of each customer dollar, compared with its estimate of about 15 cents through a conventional grocery model.
Shoppers can expect an assortment reflecting Arkansas growers, food makers and other artisans.
A new chapter after a devastating fire
The St. Joseph Center previously operated from the historic St. Joseph House property in North Little Rock.
A major fire destroyed the property in 2025, disrupting the nonprofit's former home.
The new storefront gives the organization's network a physical retail presence as it continues its work supporting local agriculture and food education.
Planning a visit
The market is located within Breckenridge Village in Little Rock.
Because operating hours and product selections can change, check the Little Farm Stop's current information before visiting.
The opening is a notable addition to Central Arkansas's local-food economy and makes a strong entry for this week's Openings, Closings & Changes coverage. |
