Voters across Central Arkansas chose local and state leaders in the November 3, 2026 general election. Here are key outcomes reported by local newsrooms during election night and early November 4. Results are reported race calls and should not be confused with final certified canvasses.

Little Rock mayor: Incumbent Frank Scott Jr. won reelection over B.J. Wyrick. FOX 16 reported Scott receiving 70.1% of the vote in the returns cited in its election report.

Arkansas Senate: In a Pulaski County contest, Allison Grigsby Sweatman was reported elected over Achor, with an approximately 53%–47% margin. Sen. Clarke Tucker also won reelection in Senate District 14.

Arkansas House: Andrew Cade Eberly defeated Karilyn Brown in District 67; Alex Holladay won reelection in District 70; Cassandra Mayes won District 71; and Ashley Hudson won reelection in District 75, according to election-night reporting.

Statewide: Republican Sarah Huckabee Sanders won another term as Arkansas governor. U.S. Sen. Tom Cotton also won reelection.

Other regional races: Reports indicate Larry Behnke defeated Aaron Spencer for Lonoke County sheriff, while independent Chris Lowery defeated incumbent Lafayette Woods Jr. in the Jefferson County sheriff contest.

Where to confirm official totals: County election commissions and the Arkansas Secretary of State will provide official canvassed results. Close races, percentages and provisional ballots should be assessed using those records, rather than election-night summaries alone.

For Central Arkansas readers, the mayoral, legislative and county-office outcomes will shape local decisions on services, infrastructure, public safety and development.
